Due to the surprising number of listens to The Chris & Ray Show episode 1 we decided to spend some of our snow day recording episode 2 "Buzz of Bust?" in which we discuss Google's launch of Buzz.
Buzz is similar to Twitter on steroids but Ray and I wonder if it's more of a Google Wave killer than a Twitter killer.

This was a nice chat and of course lots has changed since this aired. I'm a fan of Buzz, because...well, here's my list of reasons for liking Buzz:
#1. Reading content without distracting ads or sidebars
#2. Finding new and interesting people to engage with
#3. Having a conversation without a 140 character limit
#4. Having conversations with “A-list bloggers” and other hi-tech social media moguls that don’t even notice you on Twitter, Facebook or in the comment sections of their blogs. (Scoble is following me now)
#5. Increased blog traffic

Hi Lleane,
I agree completely with your reasons. In fact, I use Buzz much more than Twitter these days. I have a lot less followers but it's more personal. I also carefully select who I follow so my stream isn't cluttered with nonsense.
