I have been asked to be the lead photographer for TEDxMidAtlantic 2011. On Saturday, Oct. 29, me and a team of 2 other photographers (David Quinalty and Tim Forbes) will be documenting the TEDxMidAtlantic experience at Sidney Harman Hall in Washington, D.C.
Our goal is to publish the photos from the day in real time on TEDxMidAtlantic's Flickr page. We will also be tweeting out the images and posting a select few on the TEDxMidAtlantic Facebook fan page.
This year TEDxMidAtlantic is featuring some great speakers that I am really excited about. Here are a few we'll be covering:
- Vint Cerf, Vice President and Chief Internet Evangelist, Google
- Reggie Watts, Comedian/Musician
- The cast of HBO's The Wire
There are many more interesting folks talking that can be found on the TEDxMidAtlantic speaker list. Often, it's the people you are not familiar with that give some of the most surprising talks.
