On Saturday from 7-10 p.m. the gallery will be holding an opening reception (hey, you're invited!) with lots of wine, beer and food. I will be showing ten high dynamic (HDR) range photographs of the decrepit buildings along the Route 1 corridor in the Hyattsville Arts District. The goal of my photos was to capture these relics before the expanding development and growth claims them as their next victims. Often HDR photography focuses on beautiful landscapes, ornate rooms or halls, and cathedrals. I wanted to give these buildings in Hyattsville the same royal treatment.
