This Saturday, September 24, the Hyattsville Arts Fest will take over the city I live in from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event is located at the intersection of Route 1 (Baltimore Avenue) and Jefferson Street in Hyattsville, Maryland. My work was accepted by the festival judging committee but I decided to opt out as I had to travel to Chicago for a week in mid-September and didn't have time to prepare a booth and prints for sale. However, the artdc Gallery which is within walking distance of this festival will be featuring 5 of my images in their 12 x 12 show, along with the work of over 30 other photographers and painters with 1 foot sized pieces.
The artdc 12 x 12 opening reception occurs at the same time and is a partner with the festival.
